Upcoming events include:CLOTHESLINE PROJECT OF TAMPA BAY HONORS VICTIMS OF VIOLENCETHROUGH DISPLAY OF OVER 1,200 SHIRTSTARPON SPRINGS, Fla ? Saturday, March 25, 2006 ? March is ?National Women?s History Month?. Clothesline Project of Tampa Bay will be honoring these women and children who have been victims of violence through a display at Craig Park, located at Tarpon Avenue & Spring Blvd. The display hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend this very powerful and impacting display, giving voice to all victims of violence. A ?safe place? will be provided for women to create shirts, which aids in their healing process. There is no charge to those who wish to participate.Anyone who wishes to volunteer is invited to the Park. We will begin our set-up at 8:00 a.m.Please help by bringing a donation of new or used items of clothing, linens, or small household items. These items will benefit victims of violence. A tax-deductible receipt will be issued for anyone requesting one.
